Still writing 2007?
Happy “Earth New Year,” fellow souls. We are amazed at the number of people who have so much trouble each new calendar year in adaptingto writing the numerical change on their checks, letters, and documents.
We thought that this would be a perfect time to reiterate and give a practical demonstration of our teaching on belief systems and living in the now. As you may have noticed in our glossary, we define belief systems as “thoughts and actions, initially received and copied from parents, religion, and society, that structure a person’s behavior. After gaining an awareness of itself, a soul may rewrite or adapt these received beliefs to comply with its own understanding of reality.” They may also include practiced behaviors you perform unconsciously.
When you are not living in the now—that is being aware of what you are doing and not just running on autopilot—your ingrained beliefs take over and you unconsciously use practiced responses from your past experiences. When you are living in the now you know exactly when and where you are. In the now you are not influenced by those unconsciously learned belief systems. You are then able to choose what you do and say, and thus you know the year has changed.
May 2008 bring you loads of love, light, and laughter.
