Caesarean births
QUESTION: Masters, how does the timing of a caesarean birth affect a soul’s entry into a fetus? Are such births also pre-determined by a soul? ~Sheela, Singapore
ANSWER: As we have written about in our books on the journey of the soul, each soul makes its own decision as to when it enters into the fetus. For a baby to be viable (able to live on its own) it must have a soul. Some souls who haven’t been in a body too many times will enter as soon as sperm and egg unite. They want to feel all the divisions and specialization that occur during gestation.
Those who come to Earth frequently usually form a connection to the fetus and then go back to party and to say their good-byes to all their friends. Some hop in and out depending on what Mom is doing, or if they have an agreement with Mom’s soul to provide experiences such as kicking and back pain.
Some caesarians are pre-determined for one reason or other: mother has too small a birth canal, baby got too large, mother’s or baby’s health is deteriorating, or any one of a number of other reasons. These all occur so that the parties involved can deal with life lessons they had chosen.
Once in a while a caesarean was not specifically part of the contract, but some other lesson has an impact on mother or baby necessitating the surgery. Such an event might be the mother’s desire to experience being a victim—the result of an attack that could have occurred any time in her life but does so when she is pregnant, making it imperative to deliver the baby.
As you can see, there is no single, easy answer to your question.
