Role of soul mates
Wednesday, March 31st, 2010QUESTION: Last year someone appeared in my life who I thought was my twin flame because of all the miracles, love, telepathic bonding, synchronicities, and symptoms of being twin flames we both shared. Some weeks ago, we awkwardly felt distanced from each other. Is he only a soul mate, rather than my twin flame, a teacher and healer of our pasts? It’s like we’re walking on different paths now for our divine purposes. I wonder if this situation between us is just temporary like what we had several times within this one year. I still believe no matter what we’ll still be friends and connected in our souls to each other. ~JJ, Indonesia 30/x
ANSWER: This person is truly a soul mate of yours and not your twin flame. What you agreed to share together was the ultimate in physical experiences with another being. Since you had done this before with each other it was easy to set up a situation where the psychic connection elements could be brought into play. You did not plan on being together for long but only on “priming the pump” for a lover to emerge. This lover will not be your twin flame because that soul is not currently in body form.
Those examples of telepathic bonding, synchronicities, miracles, and all those other feelings were to create an appetite so you would not allow yourself to settle for anything less in a lasting relationship. Everyone has the ability to live in this type of a union if they believe they can, and create a loving, sharing relationship. Sharing is the most important aspect.
Most relationships on your planet are co-dependent, where a couple is together because they complete each other. This is a situation where the souls are lazy and don’t want to work on themselves to find their essence. It is easier for you to find someone who has the characteristics you need to be happy and to have your partner provide that benefit so you don’t have to work on the lessons involved.
