Controlled by fear
Saturday, October 6th, 2007Q. Masters, I seem to be terrified of everything! I’m afraid of storms, car accidents, illnesses, and most of all death. What can I do?
A. Dear Little One, what you are experiencing is an intense need to know what is coming next. When you feel that you are not in control of your life, you imagine all the worst possible scenarios that could befall you. And because your mind is so powerful, you actually empower the things that you fear the most. So your fear is turning the feared event into a reality.
This fear originates from expectations that you have for the outcome of everyday activities when you don’t feel in control. Start by realizing that control is an illusion. It is simply impossible to make free decisions for all the people who are involved in your day-to-day life. In fact, you can only make your own action choices. Stop trying to micromanage and direct the Universe! Have faith in your soul’s existing choices for your Earth lessons. You did not plan more for yourself to experience than you are capable of handling.
When you fixate upon an event (whether accident, illness, or frightening thing), you so anticipate it that you place yourself into an environment for it to occur. Stop looking for these things and they will not appear in your life. Of course, death at the appropriate time—a time you have pre-selected—will definitely happen. But what is there to fear about going Home? Back to a place where you are loved unconditionally? Where you are reunited with all your soul mates and your twin flame? When the time is right you will welcome death.
