Lessons and “witnessing”

Tuesday, December 15th, 2015

QUESTION: Masters, I suddenly seem to have a lot of conflict in my life. Nothing really deep, but annoying issues within the community I live in. I’m trying to understand why I’m presenting myself with these lessons but no specific insight comes to mind. I realize these types of conflicts might be wrapped in ego and can’t figure out whether this might be the case and I should simply remove myself from the conflict, let it go, and accept whatever others decide. ~Rain, Israel

ANSWER: There are two ways in which souls interact with their environment. They may be intertwined with a situation because it is a particular lesson they chose to experience, or they may have decided to be a witness to observe a lesson to see how it is handled by others. The latter situation could be because the souls wish to see if they might want to choose the experience on another occasion or because they have done something similar and wish to see if anything more can be learned from a variation.

In order to be called a Master, a soul must have experienced every possible aspect and variation of a particular human trait. The soul incarnates numerous times to work on obtaining the wisdom that can come only from using the freedom of choice provided by the duality of Earth to explore all this information.

Conflicts create something called control dramas. Parties are constantly juggling to better themselves and direct the action of others. All conflicts need an ego to arise. The ego thrives on judgment and uses it to determine every aspect of living. Once souls have worked through dramas, understanding that judgment is counter-productive to enlightenment, they move into evaluation – where they don’t participate, choose sides, or cheer on the conflict.

The evaluation phase of human existence allows one to accept that each soul is on a unique path. It leads to honoring the journey of the other souls while not declaring them to be right or wrong. You are entering into this phase. Your intention here was to observe and witness only – but the choice is yours. You have to ask whether you are vested in the outcome or not.

Questions on laws of attraction

Tuesday, December 15th, 2015

QUESTION: Masters, I am confused about the law of attraction. Some say we should imagine the end result, others say that we should not imagine a specific situation because it would create the expectation of only one type of result. If I visualize that I want something, I’m saying I do not have it, and many say that this is also wrong. How can we do this the right way? And I’m wishing for something out of the plans, out of the planned for the soul, what is the consequence of that? ~Dri, Brazil

ANSWER: You are taking the concepts that some call the “law of attraction,” which have worked for a number of people, and mixing them with universal laws. These principles work only because individuals create their own reality. The teachings of others define what they have found worked for them in their lives. Since each soul is on a unique journey, things may not work for everyone as they have for the teachers.

There are absolutely no “absolutes” in a soul’s journey. Each life is directed by the soul with specific goals in mind. Humans cling to the idea that something that has worked for others will work for them, and they therefore can avoid a situation they face but with which they don’t want to deal.

But if you chose to experience poverty, no amount of envisioning, sending messages to the universe, or working toward the goal of riches will succeed – unless you first deal with the lesson and why you felt it was important to you. Once learning the emotional content behind poverty, most will be able to bring prosperity into their life.

The precept of not being too specific arises from the fact that during the time needed to produce your result, you may have grown and your needs changed. Asking for something that was appropriate in the beginning may be insufficient in the present, and the whole exercise will fail. Using the term “this or something better” will cover all possible changes during completion.

All requests addressed should convey that the results have already come into existence. Saying “I need” or “I do not have” tells the universe that your condition does not – and you do not want it to – include the subject mentioned. Intentions should be phrased as ”I have” the desired end result. The universe will see it missing from your world and provide it, if it does not conflict with a life lesson.

Souls have freedom of choice and may change the direction of their plans. If you choose to deviate drastically from your pre-planning, your unconscious higher self will then intervene and, consulting with your council of advisors back Home, determine if this is what you really want to happen.

Not engaged in life

Tuesday, December 15th, 2015

QUESTION: Masters, I’ve contemplated suicide many times. I cry daily. I’m mostly sad and just want this life to end. I keep getting injured. Have no confidence or self-love. I am angry, though I admire my artistic qualities; I can’t get myself to actually go through with them. Am I actually learning what I came to learn? A., US

ANSWER: You are completely aware of the lessons you came to deal with, but you are doing nothing to learn or understand them. Your lessons appear to you as fear and doubts, which you run away from or ignore. Daily feelings are a choice one makes. You can be sad and despondent or happy and productive – the choice is yours.

You are always getting injured because you are walking through life in a fog. You are never aware of things around you and crash into them. You spend so much time lost in your negative thoughts of unhappiness and depression that you see nothing around you. To change this, it will take work on your part.

All souls create the reality in which they live. It may be negative and destructive or positive and thriving. Negativity is easy to deal with because it is everywhere. It is the default setting in the duality of Earth. Positive energy also abounds, but you have to take the time to see the negativity and make the choice to replace it with positivity.

You have a perfect way to deal with all the negativity and lack of hope in your life by choosing to concentrate on your artistic abilities. Your overall negative demeanor prevents you from believing enough in yourself to think you can develop them. All you have to do is take that first step into using your talent to change your life.

When you arise each day, look at the world around you. Get an impression of what is happening. Describe for yourself what the day appears to be bringing into your world. If anything is negative – such as a feeling of overwhelm or sadness, or that the weather is terrible – immediately change that concept in your head.

Know that you can face the day one element at a time. Think of the happiest event you have experienced and bring that energy into your body. If it is raining, think how it will make the flowers grow and clear the smog from the air. Then, and only then, begin your day in this positive energy. Each change to positivity will reduce the negative failure feelings within you. Go make it happen!
