ANSWER: We told you shortly after the first of the year that “what is a life- purpose?” is a frequently asked question. Here is a sampling of the ways that it may be stated. Most people seem to think that if they are unaware of their purpose in life, they are doing something wrong. Let us repeat one of our mantras: “Nothing is right or wrong.” And another: “You are always exactly where you need to be to learn the lessons you sought.”
When you decided to make a trip to planet Earth (that we call reincarnation), you didn’t do it on the spur of the moment with no thought or planning beforehand. You researched all the possible things you wanted to experience within the duality of Earth, and what you would most like to learn. These situations are called life- lessons. You queried your advisors, your council of twelve souls who had studied the same types of lessons before you, and your various soul mates. Then, and only then, you decided what you wanted to do. These lessons are the purpose you had in reincarnating.
To ensure that you would experience these desired lessons, you made contracts with other souls to help you set up the necessary staging for the events. Some of the incidents would be considered as positive in the realm of humanity and others as negative. Your purpose was to figure out what you wished to learn and then, in understanding it, find the wisdom beneath that could be applied to all other events in your soul’s continuing lifetimes. To reiterate let us finish as we did in January:
“The one purpose you always incarnate with is to find what it is that you wanted to accomplish. If we told you the specifics of each lesson you had decided to learn, you would be missing half the process. When you were in school, if the teacher had only given you the answers to questions without first asking the questions, you would have learned nothing. For us to tell you the purpose you had in mind would be the same. In other words, discovering your purpose is your purpose.”
