Pre-birth contracts

QUESTION: Masters, when I was an 8 years old both my parents were murdered on separate occasions. A year later my aunt was beat to death and died as well. As I got older the tragic losses continued to happen until I had no more family left. From the ages of 8 to 16 I lost 10 relatives and my life has never been the same since. I feel like I’m carrying this huge burden on my shoulders and my heart is broken beyond repair. I’m 27 years old now and I was just wondering if my family is cursed or is this some kind of karmic situation? My whole family is dead and I need to know why. ~Danielle, Canada

ANSWER: You are a soul who has experienced many lifetimes and wanted extremes this time around. You wanted to find your inner strength, self-confidence, and the limits of loneliness and abandonment. You chose your family because you were aware of their plans to all depart during this short period of Earth time.

Each time a family member left you had to re-evaluate your life and your priorities. Each time you took more and more responsibility for your own upbringing. You became aware of strengths that could have been brought out in no other way.

One of the things that weigh so heavily on your shoulders is the sense of being a survivor. This is known as survivor’s guilt – why not me too? You must understand that there is absolutely nothing you could have done to prevent any of these events. They were all planned in advance. Your plan was to deal with the results of everyone else’s departure while you still remained.

There is no curse just life lessons. Karma, which is a negative result for a negative action, exists only in the duality of Earth and had no effect on you or your family. The deaths, of your family members, were by their pre-planning.

Now that you are at this stage of your life start looking only to the present moment and what is needed for your continued existence. You don’t need anyone to hold you up you are sufficiently strong to pull yourself to your desired destination. Decide if you want or need a family to be with you through life. If you do call one to you that you create – it is not necessary for them to be biologically connected. If not see what your future adventure could be that is after you release the energy of the past.

What is a “feeling”?

Tuesday, August 12th, 2014

QUESTION: Masters, You have mentioned getting in touch with your feelings to confirm a decision/direction. I have found that feeling can be really subtle. I was expecting a “big feeling” when really, it can be a whisper. I received confirmation that I’m growing in this. But it really helped to receive confirmation because I was feeling disappointed that I wasn’t having big emotional feelings! I feel like others may be tackling this concern as well. Can you elaborate on feeling? Perhaps instead of a “big feeling”, it really is quiet and peaceful? ~Anne, US

ANSWER: We are really glad you have brought up this subject because it relates to something we are always commenting on: a person’s expectations. When you have decided before something happens what you think should happen, you have restricted the possibilities and fixated on a potential impossibility. Here, if you expect a big push, a subtle nudge will go unheard or unfelt.

This concept has a little to do with living in the now. If you have no past or future ideas of what can occur, you are open to whatever comes your way in the moment. A physical feeling in a human body is any sensation that is not a part of any other normal process within that body. When you get a “feeling” or “sense” that you should do something, just out of the blue, that is your subtle indication of the type feeling to which we are referring.

Humans are raised with adults and society always telling them exactly what is required for them to accomplish anything. You get used to it. You want it to continue because you can’t be wrong about something if you have not had to make any choices.

This procedure of listening to and obeying others does not involve your soul – that little inner voice. Your inner wisdom does not come in the booming voice of your teacher. It starts out, usually a bit hesitantly, as a whisper. Isn’t that how you venture into any new endeavor, with a degree of trepidation? As your confidence increases and faith in yourself blossoms, it may start growing in intensity – but only if you wish it. If you can hear and recognize it for guidance, why have it blast your eardrums?

Live in the now, being aware of what is going on in your immediate vicinity, and that includes within your body as well. When you talked about a destination, did your heart or stomach flutter a little? When you wrote down possible choices on a piece of paper, did some seem to be a little brighter or darker? These are the signatures of your “feelings” – not just physical, but also emotional and mental. Again, thank you for asking.

Knowing not understanding

QUESTION: Masters, I have a good life thanks to the teaching that is coming to my knowledge where I can do better in many situations, gradually I’m learning through the numerous lessons that I face on a day-to-day and I feel that everything is going well but I wish you could ask my guides and my divine essence what I should do to get more in touch with them, understand them and get to understand what actually I need to do in my life. I also need to know how I can take good things from the negative lessons especially when dealing with people because I guess I cannot even develop unconditional love for them despite knowing that this is important, could you help me understand what is unconditional love and how to live it here on Earth? ~Luciana, Brazil

ANSWER: You have a knowledge of the fundamentals of spirituality, but you have not understood that it is not like a religion that is going to tell you what to do. You can’t communicate with your guides because you think that they have to initiate the conversation or someone else has to ask them. It is your responsibility to decide what you want to do and to whom you want to speak. Then you simply address them and start communicating.

All souls have freedom of choice as to how they live their lives. No one else plans your lessons for you. Before coming, you make general plans for what you want to experience, and then as each area comes into view, you, and you alone, decide how to work through the situation. You choose the steps through each event.

Earth is the only negative place anywhere. The way you have your lessons presented to you is through negativity. You then decide whether you will tolerate the negative or put it aside and choose the positive. Only you can make those decisions. Your need to know means you don’t want to work to find what resonates with you; you want all placed in front of you with no exertion required.

Unconditional love is accepting what is presented to you. It is accepting who you are, what your life is like, and what situations you are presented. It is the ability to take judgment and throw it out the door. It is saying that nothing is right or wrong but just what the particular person needs to experience to learn. It is learning from the negative and turning to the positive. Remember, don’t judge – just live in the now.
