Being bad is okay, so why be good?

QUESTION: Masters if our world is a stage where we can play a good or evil person, be a victim or perpetrator etc. then is there a point to being good, kind, and loving if others can do evil acts and it’s ok, no judgement. I strive to grow more loving, kind, and compassionate believing it’s for my soul’s growth but if it does not matter what’s the point. How do we progress if evil is not wrong and if I am cruel it’s fine. I get we need to experience opposite emotions such as good or evil, pain and suffering, or its opposite, freedom or incarceration, – different scenarios and emotions to understand both sides and to appreciate bliss, but in all this how do we progress if we have no boundaries? If love is as ok as hate, cruelty as acceptable as kindness. I don’t get that. How this fits with a soul’s growth. ~Sue, South Africa

ANSWER: Every soul who is choosing to have a human experience creates their own reality. You had previously chosen the tasks you wished to explore by way of lessons, including family members, locale, and societal influences. Learning is accomplished by dealing with life situations, using your freedom of choice to select either experiencing the negativity-imbued circumstances only present on planet Earth, or creating a world of unconditionally loving positive influences that mimic the realm of Source – and of your soul when not in physical form.

The purpose for souls’ coming into a body is to see if they can remember who they are as souls. They try to bring their essence of unconditional love into their human existence. You are trying to do this. The only way souls can completely reach this state while still in a physical shape is to divest themselves of all vestiges of ego judgment. By focusing on what others do, you are continuing to judge their journey and giving it a degree of importance in your human learning and experience.

Each soul’s journey is an individual experience, and the only things you should concern yourself with are your own path and decisions. In former lives you have chosen the negative (evil) process, but this time you choose to bring out your inner essence of unconditional love – the positive direction or concentration.

You never have to like what other people sharing the planet with you are undertaking, but your spiritual growth must include accepting that they have the right to live as they have chosen. You have freedom of choice to blend the life you desired – a positive physical one – with ego-influenced judgment, but you must be aware that this hinders you from reaching unconditional love. The choice and direction in this lifetime are yours.

The spiritual journey

QUESTION: Masters I have faced lots of my emotional and mental blockages and because of them I have started to understand various levels. I have started to get past life’s experiences. Why? Now I am in a situation where I want to give all of my life to spirituality. How can I do that? I have realized that we are living in path where we are learning what unconditional love means and what it is (everything, everywhere, inside, outside, we are one). I have started to see another “dimension”, where is energy, what is this “dimension”? Could you please explain what are my experiences? Do I have to be born here again and again if I have not learn my lessons. How can I “develop” myself “more”? Can you give me few tips? Do I need a guru or do I just need my “inner voice”? ~Weareone, Finland

ANSWER: You are a soul who is having a human experience so that you might learn all about the essence of the soul. Only with a physical body can you engage in things that involve more than a spiritual level. A human being has many layers. There is a physical one, a mental one, an emotional one, and a spiritual essence or soul.

During the initial life-lessons phase of humanhood, you are so consumed with mental and emotional blockages – which is one way lessons appear – that you see only them and nothing more. As you learn your lessons, or clear up the blockages and get rid of the third-dimensional, judgmental ego, you can reconnect with the feelings of your soul.

This dimension you perceive is the non-ego, nonjudgmental, unconditionally loving energy of your Source essence. This is the goal of the soul – to be able to live in its power while still having a human shell. To stay here you must not allow ego judgment to return. Instead, just evaluate what is happening around you and see if it is something in which you would like to participate or, on the other hand, something from which you cannot learn.

Your essential unconditionally loving self is all you need to continue along your spiritual path. You progress by using your freedom of choice and taking full responsibility for the things you bring into your life. You need nothing but your inner feelings to tell you what you came to experience.

Once you are comfortable with being out of the loop of ego judgment, you can explore all the powers a soul has to manifest exactly what is desired. Intention is the controlling factor; intend and it shall be. If you understand what you bring into your life, you do not have to repeat it again. Enjoy your journey.

Why am I afraid?

QUESTION: Masters, all my life I have secretly been afraid….Hard to explain but I feel you will understand with your insight …Is this something I brought with me or was it caused by an incident when I was 13 Is it something I was to overcome in this incarnation… ~Charles, Canada

ANSWER: Take a look at the previous answer to get an idea of how a soul sets itself up to learn lessons. Fear, being afraid, is one of those signposts that you are staring at a chosen life lesson. This gives you the opportunity to address the underlying task, learn why you chose it, and release the fear it projects.

You lined up a series of challenges you wanted to experience while here. Some of them you programmed by the environment and characteristics you chose – such as your sex, location, family, family traits, and people who would have an influence on your life (teachers, preachers, and society in general).

In addition, you also made contracts with other souls to interact with you to create an atmosphere that would present individual situations for you to analyze and try to understand, and from which to learn. The incident when you were 13 was one such agreement.

Everything that happens to a soul having a human experience is for the purpose of learning who you are as a soul and what powers and abilities being a piece of Source allows you to manifest. Once you accept that this is so, you will be able to use this knowledge to understand that everything in your life occurs merely for the purpose of education.

Life lessons always come to the person in a negative setting, which generates fear, so that the soul has to work to understand how to overcome the negative and turn the situation into a positive. That is the definition of learning a life lesson. The result of understanding the lesson is a release of the fear surrounding the event, personal characteristic, or emotional disturbance.
